Me either. Seems to just work. It's in a 6000-430 not an 8xxx not

should make a difference.

sounds like it's got a dodgy chip or possibly a dry joint.
About a year ago, on a long weekend (doesn't it always happen this way?)
the A/C in the
main computer room here tripped out.
It was 40C+ in the room on Monday morning. The 6k was still spinning
away happily, with it's
usual load of mail and web stuff. The 3 day old Netware box was not.

DEC hardware will generally work even at extemes. If it fails at just
over 70F it has a real problem and
should be looked at.
