I saw a cute little vax today at a scrap yard, apparently still intact, it
was a 5500 in a BA400 chassis. I don't think I can bring it home, but
should I be tempted? Anybody else in SoCal looking for one?

I did snag a fairly burnt in VT520, unfortunately minus any cables, and
left about 5 more behind.
