DECmate II

Yesterday I picked up a DECmate II. Unfortunately, there were no disks
with it. I have a few questions...

1. How would I recognize an APU or XPU board?
2. Where can I get a boot disk for it?
3. What software was(is) available for it?

(I guess I can now say I have a PDP-8.)
