Help Identifying IBEX Computer

I've run across an old beast of a machine about which I know nothing.
Can anyone identify this puppy? The front of the monitor case has the
name "IBEX" on it. Tags on the back of the unit show a model number
"7301" and the name "Logic Systems International Inc.". It was made in
Japan.

It consists of 3 modules, as follows:

Hard/Floppy Drive Unit: This is the largest unit, and houses one 8"
floppy drive and a hard drive with 8" platters. It also has a large
white ON/OFF switch which powers up the entire system. The case is
about 24" wide, 11" tall, and 24" deep.

Keyboard Unit: Has a standard keyboard, but the case is much larger
because it also holds the main logic board for the system. Measures 2"
tall, 18" wide, 16" deep.

Monitor Unit: Holds a monitor which measures about 12" diagonally. The
front of the screen has a flat, smoked cover over it.

A series of what seem to be non-standard cables join the modules
together. There are two cables which connect to the monitor box; one
from the keyboard, and one from the drive unit.

When the unit powers up, the screen says "V4.3" in the top left corner.
If I try to type anything, the screen fills instantly with garbage, so I
assume there is something wrong.

I don't have any documentation or software for this beast, so I'm not
sure if I need a floppy to boot the system. There is no drive light for
the FDD, so I don't know if it is trying to read a floppy when it boots.
