apollo computers?

Uh.. not really.

An Apollo could be anywhere from not much like UNIX at all to vaguely
resembling UNIX, depending on how much and which parts of the OS are
installed.

This isn't to say it's not an interesting machine (it is, in a really
crusty sort of way) but you can do way better with an old Sun 3/xx (or
even SPARC 1) for that price, if you want a UNIX box to learn/hack on.
