Back == towards the PSU. I almost always give locations as if you're
standing in front of the machine (frontpanel nearest to you, PSU away from
you) with the machine the right way up.

You did cut the jumper on the right 2 slots, I assume. It's easy to make a
mistake and go one slot further over.
