                         ST-506
                   Option Shunt Block

                      ____ ____
                      | |__| |
                   1 | R | 16
                   2 | D | 15
                   3 | NC | 14
                   4 | H | 13
                   5 | DS4 | 12
                   6 | DS3 | 11
                   7 | DS2 | 10
                   8 | DS1 | 9
                      |__________|

      Legend:
              R Radial Operation
             *D Defeat Recalibration
             *H Half Step Option
              DSn Drive Select

             * Factory selection

Opening the Half Step option should improve access time.

The proper interleave setting is a function of the controller rather than
the HD, so 3 should be OK.
