This sounds like one of the versions of the "Siamese System" for the Amiga.
Before switching to Ethernet in the current version it was possible to hook
the Amiga and a Win95 PC together using their respective SCSI buses. You
could then display the Amiga's video on the PC, and transfer files between
the two. Kinda cool, but I think it required special hardware.

The current version using ethernet sounds better, but I've been seeing to
many tales of woes in the newsgroups for me to try.
