I know it. I want the 8 chip variety, though, in the interest of being
'correct'. I could even enable parity checking on the NeXT, but at a 30%
or so performance hit...

It eats disk drives. Basically, I get a known good FDHD and within a week
it's toast. Everything else about the machine is fine, great. Just the
disk drives...
