Well, where I work we have quite a few beta machines! Until this past
year, it was the BetaSP machines that did most of the work. (They're
still used, but most of the work is done on hard drive now.) It's
interesting how the 'mass market' decided VHS was better, yet the
professional/broadcast industry stayed with the truly better system. You
can see the same thing happen in the computer industry as well. (just to
keep this on topic.)
