The first thing to do is get one of the air cooled models. If not, get
lots of ice and a pump!

Seriously, a 3081 is not that much of a power hog if the memory and
disk/tape drives are minimized. The processor itself is quite small and
only sucks up a few kilowatts. Yes, it would turn my electric meter
into a meat slicer, but I do not need to run a 24-7 shop!

Keep an eye on that 9221; that could be fun.
