I also have a PPC640 and a couple of other Amstrads. Since the power supply for the
desktop Amstrads (like the PC6400DD) is in the monitor, if you have a spare Amstrad
monitor lying around, you can plug it into the back of the PPC640, and it will power the
portable. Saves the cost of a power supply.
