One of the sections of my web page is devoted to preserving the history
of the UCSD P-System. According to Ken Bowles, head of the project,
he kept source disks to all releases for versions III and IV in storage
for about fifteen years, then he decided they were useless and that
the world had no interest in them, so he threw them out. A few years
after that, he started receiving inquiries about that source. By
that time, any of the subsequent licensees of the P-System and UCSD
Pascal no longer had any copies of that source, either.
