Way to identify original IBM-PC?

Generally, on the original motherboard there are two DIN connectors: one
for keyboard and one for cassette. I'm not sure if the cassette connector
was present on the 256K motherboard. Something tells me a certain
Englander named Tony Duell either knows this or is reaching up to his
bookshelf to pull down his technical guide to find out for sure.
