Well, the qualifications are either "suicidal" or "smart enough to
pour piss out of a boot and then not stand in the puddle while
working on electrical equipment". I'm probably both, but I'm on
record as not being much of a hardware hacker due to my tendency to
burn myself whenever I'm foolish enough to attach the soldering
iron to the mains.
