I'm thinking we're seeing the birth of Microsoft as we know (and lothe) it
today in this letter. I'd say he DID rethink it, and after being slapped in
the face like this, I can't blame him for rethinking it in a far more preditory
light. I wonder how different the world would be today if this hadn't happened?
