Old Computer Link on Slashdot

Subjected to the Slashdot Effect.

SlashDot (www.slashdot.org) is a *VERY* popular news site, used by the Linux
folks. I check it myself every morning, and a few other times during the day.
The slashdot effect is when they link you from Slashdot, basically everyone
who visits slashdot nails the link - Many at about the same time. It's a
lot of hits in a very short time. More than a few webservers have gone down
because the load created is incredible.
There's an official definition somewhere...
