Actually when I was in undergrad school and logging into our VMS machine from
my Commodore 64 (at 1200 baud! Wooo) I was using a VT100 emulator that would
ONLY work with EVE. EDT would make it barf every time. This is how I got to
be an EVE bigot. :)

Btw. I'm sending a VAX tape out to Tim Shoppa to read out for me. On it
is everything that is left of the BBS I used to run on our campus VMS machine.
One of the tidbits in the file upload/download section *should* be that very
same C64 VT100 emulator. I'll let y'all know if I can make that available.

Anyone who is interested in the BBS software, I'd love to see it be used
again, so if you're interested please e-mail me privately. It's a mishmosh
of DCL and vax pascal, and while the first iteration has huge security problems,
the second used regular VMS accounts and was much tighter overall.

(if you happen to have BEEN a Cobber from about 1988 until 1992, we're talking
about Radio Free Concordia and DISCOURSE.)
