If you are in Northern California (or care to get here) Berman Diversified
(www.berman.com) has some VAX stuff in the current auction (which closes
tomorrow at 2PM). The lot in question is lot #113 which has what appears to
be the complete set of "spares" (poorly packed) for a VAX shop they have
been liquidating. This lot has what appear to be two complete VAX CPU sets,
some memory cards, and disk controllers. There is also a _bunch_ of media
in the form of 9 track tapes, RLO1, RL02, RK05 packs and a couple of packs
that have smoked covers. One labeled VMS4.1 BIN BA60. In another lot they
have a couple of disk units RM03? and a SMD drive, and perhaps an RL01. And
three PDP 11/23 chassis with some boards. One appears to be complete but
the others are empty. This lot also has an RX01 and controller. Its lot
#117 I believe. Last week they had a VAX 8650 in two cabinets in one lot, a
rack of RA81 drives in the next, and a couple of Cipher tape drives and
RA81s in a third lot. (Oh and an HSC50 whatever the heck that is!)

To get to Berman take Trimble road (going north) from Hwy 101 past 1st
street. Just before Montegue Expressway merges into it (trimble kind of
splits to the left with the right lane going straight) there is a yellow
sign (some official sign) and turn at it into the parking lot.
