Well it looks like this thread has played out. Damn it was a good one. Its
like going to an advanced seminar on electronics. Thanks Tony and Phillip
I can now face PSU repair with much more confidence. This one was definitely a
keeper. I'll append it to the earlier PSU thread and save it to my personal
classiccmp FAQ.
 Does anyone know the status of the archives ? I haven't been able to access
the site for well over a year. I would be a shame if all this info on classic
computers has vanished , while the sex-life of ants is archived on Deja News.
I know some of you are acquainted with Bill ,would it be possible to find out
so that remedial steps can be taken ?
