Excuse me with this gross snipping...

Hack is the word.
Hacker is the person doing something specific in relation on
specific type of action or description.

Also this "hack" thing have to be in context to specific items and
what is being acted on or described about.

That is about all.

what is the problem because reporters is not caught making negative
work on the "hack" thing (right, I left 'er' out to express in
general) where correct choices of words would do right and cracker is
about right I think.
