I sort of like the idea expressed in the _Red Dwarf_ SF TV comedy
where the money in the future is expressed in "dollarpounds", and
amounts are preceded by both symbols, at least in the novelisations.
Any time the politicians are changing the definition of the money,
you know they're not going to kiss you afterwards.
