No it is not, but...

Time is a big problem. I get precious little time to spend with my
computers and I certainly don't get large blocks of time, 30mins - 1hour
is typical. (I certainly don't resent not being able to spend more time
with them as spending time playing my daughter is great fun.)

...but if you have little or no electronics experience then it can seem
rather daunting, given what I heard about the large voltages/current found
inside these things. Heck I don't even know how SMPSUs work.
