Which reminds me of a story. An uncle of mine was going on
vacation to Texas. He checks in at the motel, and they say that
it's $60/night, and he said he'd be staying for two nights, this one
included. The person behind the cash register annonces that it'll
be $150. Then he objects: $60*2 is CLEARLY not $150. Then the
register explains that that's what the computer SAID it was. So he
calls out the manager, who looks at it, then takes $30 off. Why did
it do that? No one knows. But it happened, and the register was
stupid enough to believe it.
