They have - I have seen in more than one movie a shuttle on the
moon, and neither Hollywood nor my TV would lie (There is a nice
B (?) picture, some kind of Dracula/Alien/Bermuda Triangle mxture,
where they use Shuttles for moon missions, and from the inside
they are bigger than the Nostromo ...).

Didn't know about that until now - I thought they where done as
som high class luxury toys (liek mountain boots for the office:)
