The list has been in existence for some time and the amount of spam
we get is very minimal from my experience. I think it is well worth the price
to pay for posters from the archives who might make a valuable offer of
vintage equipment or insight. Reminds me of the "black hole" antispam
initiative where the solution is worse than the problem.
