State of the Hobby

Everything starts out at a high price, and over its life span, that price
slowly drops and hits bottom, then it slowly starts to rise again. It
isn't just computers, but Rolls-Royces, Mark Twain first editions, gold
jewellery, kewpie dolls, etc.
