While I agree that a line of accompanying text would time and keep those
of us using other mail clients from feeling lie we're being left out of an
inside joke, you should be able to reach eBay from your shell account.
Believe it or not, Lynx works very nicely on eBay - I've used it a lot.
Lynx supports most Unices and VMS. You can get more information at
