Easy, first of all don't bid your max early on as all it does is drive up
the prices. Second, bid the maximum you are willing to bid as late in the
game as you can. If someone outbids you then, so what. I have had a number
of people email me with the comments that they wanted to bid but missed the
deadline. Sniping is just a frame of mind.
