I think the best way to answer your question Jason instead of everyone
telling their own little story of what computers were like back in the old
days is for you to go out and start picking up old computer texts at used
bookstores and read up on them. You will learn a lot, and you will be
fascinated by what you learn.

You will absorb all sorts of wonderful information from the speakers and
fellow attendees, and you'll be wowed by the exhibits.
