IBM 286 Help Request

Is there anything on the screen at all, not from the computer but scan
lines, whatever. If there is, and there are two beeps, adjust the
contrast/brightness to see if there is a tiny symbol (like an ankh?) on
the screen. If there is then you need to short out two jumpers near the
PS to remove the BIOS password. Reasoning behind this is primarily the
two beeps and then the fact that you don't mention any grinding hard
drive noise making me wonder what is happening after the floppy
check/beeps. Sounds like it is looking for a password.
