  Usually a working 215 (maybe dead batts) goes for $100-125....
I have missed a couple of them at that price.

  Aside from the newer LCD scope/meter combos, the NLS instruments
are hard to beat for field work, IMHO.

  NLS Scope most common fault: they use a lot of 4066 CMOS switches
to perform various functions... these seem to be particularly
vulnerable for some reason.

  If anyone finds a 'dead' NLS mini-scope for cheap, buy it and then
check out the 4066s... it's almost always the problem.
