Just to get in my 2-cents' worth, I've got a server running Netware 3.11
that's been down (intentionally) twice since I put it up in 1990. It was
down on one other occasion, because a diode in the UPS failed. The Winbook,
by the way, has been without a crash since Jun '97 when I bought it. The
majority of occasions on which other boxes have been down have been due to
hardware failures or upgrades, and not to reinstall WIndows, though a lot of
reinstallations are used 'round the world in place of learning what the
problem really is.
