Hmmm, a TF85 would be the DSSI version of the TK85 (not sure that's the
right name), which is either a DLT2000 or DLT4000, _I THINK_. Makes me
wonder if the DLT drives have an interface into which you plug the hardware
that determines what kind of drive interface it talks to into (i.e. Single
Ended SCSI, Differental SCSI, DSSI, etc.). Unfortuantly when I've torn
DLT7000's apart I don't tend to take time to notice such details so I'm
really not sure what the interface looks about.
Having said all that, I'd recommend you don't try it. If it works that's a
good drive to have, and worth getting a DSSI interface if you don't already
have one.
