Jerome Fine replies:

I remember cutting my teeth on a UNIVAC 1107 - well, not my first
computer which was an IBM 650. But at this point, I don't feel I
want to go back to using punch cards.

The CQD-220/M is a SCSI host adapter for hard disk drives ONLY - no
tape drives allowed. CMD also made a disk/tape version called a
CQD-220/TM as well as a tape ONLY version called CQD-220/T.

The CQD-220/M is likely useful to others, so perhaps offer it for sale
if you don't have a use for it. I would certainly buy it if you are not
going to use it yourself. But, if you are going to use your uVAX II,
just hook up a SCSI drive and it should run. Is your VAXstation II the
model which is a BA23 with 3 slots filled with epoxy?

Sincerely yours,

Jerome Fine
