What could an S/34 or AS/400 be other than a mini? Certainly they are not
micros, nor are the mainframes. Other than the S/38 and AS/400. with
their bizzare mega CISC object based architecture, the other members of
the family have all had fairly standard mini architectures. The only real
difference is that these IBM minis are not very good at math, but excell
in character and string manipulating.
