Fortunately in my case there wasn't an actual collision. I noticed
what the other driver was attempting just barely early enough to brake
abruptly and thwart his plan. However, at the time I had just picked
up six large containers of Chinese food for a friend's party, and several
of them wound up covering various items not normally associated with
comestibles, such as the aforementioned manual.

I hope you suffered less damage than the Apple ///!
