I once saw a commercial color copier (don't remember brand) with a Kodak
Carousel projector as an accessory!
If that concept would work, you might be able to rig up a system to
project into a scanner.
Want an old Beseler 4x5 enlarger? You would need to use a short focal
length lens ( < 50mm) to do the frames one at a time. If the spacing is
consistent, you could probably rig up a carrier with clck detents for ease
of algining next frame.
