This is an old argument, but I know of nothing better than the open market
to set a "fair" price. A caveat that many people on this list seem to
cheerfully brush aside is that a "really" working system has a LOT more
value. So many people are willing to buy junk and "hope" it works, or that
they can fix it, it just isn't funny. There is also a BIG difference in the
value of a fully refurbished unit vs a "working" unit.
