It's Billy's job to be ruthless. He's managing the finances of a very large
enterprise, and has responsibilities to his stockholders, employees, OEM
customers, end-users, and vendors.

I'd say he's successful because he and his staff, many of whom he picked out
personally, are extremely well-focused.
