FWIW, my thoughts:
R.D. Davis was way out of line with his initial reply to Joe. Keep that
sort of non-productive ranting to private e-mail. If you wanted to
suggest a better way of troubleshooting, offer helpful and useful advice.
All you've done is started a flame war that will result in singed egos.
