Ah, this explains why I was able to carry a 12V 7AH gel cell with me
effortlessly through Japan and China with Los Angeles saying they wouldn't
allow it. On the flight over, I got a NW Airline rep to retrieve it for me;
on the way back and tired from being up for some 24 hours, I politely told
them to keep it and didn't add where :).
