I'm curious about our female comrads on this list. There are at least two
ladies who are very active and who seem to know more than most of the rest
of us members by a fair margin.
Of course it has been said that if a woman is going to make it in 'a man's
job' she has to work twice as hard and know twice as much just to stay in
the game....
It is statistically interesting that the minority of women on the list
produce such a disproportionately large fraction of the quality traffic on
the list. Was DEC a particularly liberal company when it came to hiring
able women? This might be the beginning of a nice lesson in company
history.
