Correct TTY is not DTE as it's not rs232.

Computer used as terminal would be DTE. Also likely is the designer
was not familiar with standards and went with the only RS232 they
knew which was likely a terminal.

I believe there should be two serial (one each) or a switchable
option for DCE/DTE.
