Yes. In fact until NetBSD was ported it couldn't run anything other than
VMS. Any VAX will run VMS, DECstations won't (they're MIPS based and ran
Ultrix). Most DEC Alpha's will run VMS (as well as some non-DEC Alpha's),
however, with the Alpha certain models were crippled so that you can't run
VMS on them (plus you must have supported I/O widgets). Of the crippled
Alpha's some can be converted to run VMS (such as my PWS 433a which I've
converted into a 433au).
