For archiving of files: lha or lzx.
For archiving of disk: dms
For archiving for emulation: transdisk

Probably possible with some DMS utilities (I can't remember any names right
now), perfectly possible woth lha or lzx.

If so, mount the NFS server and do the archiving to it.
