Hey, that is pretty interesting! The mention of making something with an
axe reminded me of the unofficial Seabee motto:


"Measure it with a micrometer, mark it with a grease pencil, cut it with
an axe".

Another is:

"We have done so much with so little for so long that soon we will be able
to do everything with nothing forever".
