1972 IIRC US Land Rover. It had an alternator. BTW, on several
occasions I did use the hand crank to start it.

Decided to part with it when it put a rod through the block without
warning. Stuffed a rag in the hole to retain the oil and drive it home,
8 miles. Rich man's toy over here. Very expensive to maintain. Also
got tired of replacing those soft axle shafts.
