Fixing machines (was Re: H-89....)

I've discovered this problem is fairly rampant. I'm presently attempting a
"fix this one and move on" strategy where I spend cycles, concentrate on
one machine, until its up and running. Then moving on to another. I'm also
going to be putting together digital pix of the work so hopefully I'll have
a record to share with others.
