I'll break my promise for this request for a reference.

I'm sure there would be something more recent if I looked.

Numerous papers link chlorine ions to low ozone concentration through in situ
measurements. Any one of a hundred would do, like:
Newman et al. 1997 GRL 24, 2689
"Anomalously low ozone over the Arctic"
